Burger-Haven in Centralia

I ordered a double bacon cheeseburger. I got a quadruple burger loaded on a hoggie bun. Wow that was a good burger.

Excellent food, the burger was bigger than I expected and was fantastic! Plenty of fries, properly cooked and crisp. The price was very reasonable and I enjoyed hearing the banter between the employees. Great customer service!

Great food worth the wait

I was in recently. There were several people in cooking area I'm at register wait to place order. They saw me several times. Not acknowledgment. After 15 minutes of waiting. I left went across the street to sub way got in and out

Relaxing stop with mostly American fare. Helpful staff that were willing to prepare food as close to my diet as I could get!

The burgers are good; prices are good if youre buying several, got 5 cheeseburgers for approximately 7 bucks. The fries are crinkle cut and very good. This is a mom & pop that hits all the right notes; friendly, tasty, cozy, and a nostalgic atmosphere.

An excellent classic Burger joint. Cheap and good is a rarity in this class, but they pull it off. If I'm headed to SE Illinois from home, I'll usually route myself through Centralia just to grab grub here.

The wait is long. The food is home made delicious and made to order! So well worth the wait!!!

Got a craving for the haven

Good place for a hamburger and hand made milkshakes.

Two stars only because I know the owners wouldn’t allow what I’ve seen happen when they aren’t there. 20 minutes for 5 cheeseburgers but was able to watch all 4 younger employees working behind the grill eat the whole 30 minutes I was there. Big party comes in after I had waited for 10 min and they get all of their order while I waited until they were done chatting to get my order 5 min later. Seen no one wash their hands and touched multiple things without gloves including while they cooked and handled the food. Breaded mushrooms were way over cooked and fries were cold and rubbery. No wonder the place is going out of business when one of the girls working ate two sandwiches and nachos and must be getting paid to stand around and talk and not do a thing.

Love it, best burgers and fried stuff. Call in for take out, unless you want to wait they make it all on order. So good!

Best place ever to eat

Best Burgers in town was not understated. I was in town for business and a friend recommended that if I wanted a burger that was the place to go. Their prices are really affordable and the food is great. They recently started taking credit cards. They are glad to customize it however you want.

So very GREAT place 2 eat but the prices r just so very high.

It was good. I kind of compared it to Polar Whip in Herrin. The burgers did not have the crisp edges but they were tasty.

Really like the lady who is taking my order she's very friendly food was good I ordered a lunch specials which case was a double cheeseburger fries and on the side I ordered fried mushrooms I got to go below cheeseburger fried mushrooms but no french fries. All around the food was good customer service was good definitely recommend this place

Omg burgers are fantastic
